At EasyCrate, we know that most of our customers place orders for more than one item at a time, whether it’s for a quantity of reusable plastic crates or some ancillary moving equipment, or indeed both. That’s why we don’t see the benefit in offering you a discount on just one item. We have therefore put together a special office relocation bundle for you that contains a number of essential moving items at a combined fabulous price.
Bundle Deal Number One – Only £9.95 (plus VAT)
This bundle includes the following must-have items:
One Week’s Skate Hire – a skate is basically a piece of durable plastic with wheels on the bottom that allows you to easily move office crates around without the need to lift them. This skate will certainly make your life much easier during any move.
50 Labels – labels are an invaluable item when it comes to office relocation or placing items in storage. You can use them for labelling the destination or origin of moving crates, to list the contents or the owner of the contents…the possibilities are endless.
100 Security Seals – during an office move, it may be possible to miss-place items for a certain period of time. During this time, you may not be able to control who has access to contents of crates or boxes. With that in mind, it’s vital that you place security seals on your crates to ensure they can’t be accessed or tampered with during your move.
To take advantage of this offer, simply call us on 0800 027 2665. Be sure to check back next week for another amazing bundle deal.

How A Secure Roll Cage Can Be Used
At Easycrate, we have a wide range of reusable crates for hire which are perfect for your office move. But as well as plastic crate hire, we also offer a whole host of other moving items too. This week we’re going to take a more in depth look at how to use a secure roll cage.
A secure roll cage is simply a cage on wheels, making it easy to move. Added shelves and secure fastening make this specialist moving crate ideal when moving offices. Here are a few ways in which it can be used:
- To move computer equipment – the secure roll cage is ideal for moving large computer equipment that won’t fit into a computer lidded crate such as servers or network printers. By securing them in a cage during your office move, you will ensure they do not get damaged whilst making it easy to move the heavy equipment around.
- Archive records – paper or physical archive records are often bulky and heavy to move around. A secure roll cage allows you to simply load the documents onto the shelves and then easily move them to their new location.
- Secure items – as the secure roll cage can be locked if required, it makes it ideal for moving sensitive items to their new location without the possibility of them getting lost or their security being compromised during transportation.

How to safely move computer equipment
Moving home or office can be both frustrating and inconvenient. All you really want to do is get on with your daily tasks without also having to think about the logistics of moving your possessions. What’s more, you don’t want to have to think about replacing items that get lost or damaged whilst moving either, especially when it comes to expensive items like computer equipment.
In today’s digital age, each household has at least one piece of computer equipment, whether it’s a PC or a laptop and offices have many more including printers and external hard drives too. At Easycrate we know how important your computer equipment is to both you and your business and with that in mind we’ve put together some handy tips for how to move your computer equipment safely.
First of all, let’s look at how to wrap your computer equipment ready for the big move. As most computer equipment is fragile, it’s important to protect it. This can be as simple as wrapping your computer in anti-static bubble wrap to help absorb any shocks that may occur during your home or office move. Although this method is OK for hard drives and PC towers, it’s not ideal when moving computer monitors. At Easycrate we have special Computer Screen Covers available which offer your monitor protection from scratches and dust.
Once you’ve successfully wrapped your computer equipment, you need to think about how you will be transporting it. If your office move is simply a case of moving from one room to another on the same premises, it might be best to hire our Secure Roll Cage. This cage contains shelves and will ensure that your computer equipment is protected whilst you simply wheel it to its new location.
However if your move is further away to a new office or home, you can hire our plastic crates. The aptly named Computer Lidded Crate is large enough to hold your PC, monitor, keyboard and mouse so it not only protects everything but also keeps it all together for convenience. This lidded crate is also ideal for moving your printer too – although depending on size, two crates maybe required.
We hope that this guide has been useful but if you have any questions or want to know more about our crate hire service, just contact us.
